Day 218 - Restarting
I had the first Beers Group networking meeting of the year today. It felt good to get back into something regular. I wasn’t sure if it would be helpful at all - I’ve been going for months, and haven’t had a good lead from the group yet. But today’s good feeling wasn’t from a lead, but from the kindness of one of the members. She asked me how I was holding up, and was genuinely empathetic. She offered to introduce me to a couple people via LinkedIn.While it wasn’t a huge event, it made me feel good for awhile, which was nice.
